Working with the Hamish Ogston Foundation
Pinnacle is delighted to work with the Hamish Ogston Foundation – Heritage Building Skills Programme.
The Programme started in 2021, with a prime goal to preserve historic buildings worldwide by funding heritage skills apprenticeships. Pinnacle is currently supporting Andrew Addison through his Apprenticeship roofing programme.
Before joining the programme, Andrew worked at a recycling plant before a family member directed him to an article for the programme in a local newspaper. Andrew was instantly drawn to the opportunity to work within the heritage construction sector and to leave a legacy.
So far, Andrew has had the opportunity to work on some of York’s most prestigious heritage buildings, including Central Methodist Church (Grade II* Listed), The Assembly Rooms (Grade I Listed) and 30 Goodramgate (Grade II* Listed).
