Investing In Young Talent
At Pinnacle, we believe it is essential to Invest In Young Talent, so we were delighted when we had the opportunity to provide an Internship for a Local Student through Career Ready.
We provided a two-week paid internship to Evelyn from Fulford School. Working alongside Evelyn and her tutor, we set up a training timetable involving site visits, meetings, and office-based assignments. At the end of the two weeks, Evelyn produced a presentation showcasing what she had learnt during her time with Pinnacle.
Evelyn said of her experience, “Before my internship at Pinnacle Conservation, I didn’t realise how many career pathways there were within engineering and construction – there are so many jobs that require lots of different skills. This experience helped me identify jobs that I would enjoy”.
Adam Hickey, Pinnacle Managing Director “Providing an internship is an excellent opportunity to re-learn the fundamentals of what we do as a business and reflect on our impact on the industry and our duty to impart our knowledge to young people”.
