Visit from Simon Lightwood MP

On Monday 13th February, Local Wakefield MP Simon Lightwood visited our site 6-8 Silver Street.

Simon was carrying out a tour of the Upper Westgate High Street visiting current projects as part of the Cities Heritage Action Zone improvement works.

Site Manager Alfie took Simon on a tour of our current project, 6-8 Silver Street, where we are currently undertaking extensive timber repairs to this magnificent 17th Century, Grade II listed building for Historic England.

Simon Lightwood Said, “It’s wonderful to see the work that has been done to bring the past back to life, and to improve the appearance of some of our streets.”
